Hi guys, I am trying to install Intel AC7260 driver for bluetooth part of it. However when I do run setup I get a message, that required dll package could not be loaded. Wireless works, bluetooth is unrecognized device. My system info is as follows: Laptop: T61 CPU: X9000 RAM: 8GB GPU/Chipset: When prompted, choose to "discard settings." Bluetooth: Go to the Device Manager > Bluetooth > Right click on your Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth (R) and uninstall it. Make sure to mark the option to "Delete the driver software for this device." WiFi: Go to the Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right click on your Intel Wireless Adapter and Previous motherboard was an MSI. I read there shouldn't be any issues, but you know how it goes. It's an odd problem. I can get the Bluetooth to show up when I reinstall the drivers, but it's not letting me remove Bluetooth devices, and when I restart, the original problem comes back where I need to reinstall the drivers. Started the installation and after answering the setup.exe questions, the .msi is called to start the installation and it just fails. Ran all of the Windows updates, reinstalled SP2, re-ran all updates to make sure there was nothing else and retried the BES install with the same results. RIM said the issue was the Windows Installer service. Download the latest Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite from Intel Download Center and keep it handy, to install when you’re finished uninstalling the old suite. Double-click the installer for the newest suite. Let it fail. Do not restart your computer, even if asked. Download Microsoft Troubleshooter tool for fixing problems that block I had some trouble with that Intel NIC on my Z590 Gaming Force too. What eventually did the trick: In the adapter options (you will find them in the network settings), set "Energy-efficient Ethernet" to disabled, and set Speed to 1.0 GBps Full Duplex instead of Auto. Maybe one of the two already helps, try the first one. Right-click the Windows Installer service, and then click Properties. d. If the Startup type box is set to Disabled, change it to Manual. e. Click OK to close the Properties window. f. Right-click the Windows Installer service, and then click Start. The service should start without errors. Method 2: Try to run the .msi packages as an administrator. The path 'C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{221D6DB4-46E2-333C-B09B-5F49351D0980}v14.13.26020\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\c_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi" cannot be found.Verify that you have access to this location and try again,or try to find the installation package 'vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi in a folder from which you can install the product' in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion in ProgrmFilesDir value is C:\Program Files and in ProgramFiles Dir (x86) is C:\Program Files (x86) With attempt to C:\WINDOWS\system32>assoc .exe=exefile something also went wrong here, because OS freeze, and I was forced to reboot LgIvph.
